When creating a card, you can assign it a monthly budget. A monthly budget is the maximum amount that can be spent using that card in a single month.
The card will never exceed its monthly budget.
The card will also never exceed your business's available credit.
Ask the owner or an admin to:
Making payments towards your current balance doesn’t free up spending space on cards’ monthly budgets. Cards' monthly budgets only reset at the start of each billing cycle.
Set a monthly budget when you Create a virtual or physical card. If you create a card without a budget, you won’t be able to add one later.
You cannot remove a monthly budget once it’s set. However, you can easily adjust it by editing the card to increase or decrease the monthly limit.
